Meet Our Tutors
Coach Eddy:
My name is Salvador Amore. I currently tutor several high school students in Placer County. I have 2 years of tutoring experience at Bella Vista High School and 1 year currently at William Jessup University. I am a undergraduate student with the goal of receiving my doctorate in Biblical Studies. I have taken courses though AP Calculus BC, Spanish 4, AP Physics 2, and AP Literature. Therefore, I am confident tutoring below and at these levels. My students currently range form 7th grade to sophomore year. Some of my students have a 3.00+ GPA while others struggle to pass basic classes due to learning disabilities. Rather than explaining the result, I focus on understanding and comprehension of the process. For example, instead of teaching the concept of absolute value as the cancellation of a negative, absolute value by definition is the number’s distance from 0. This helps to target misunderstanding. If you have any questions, please contact me at refertutoring@gmail.com.
Coach Matt:
I joined the Army at 17 years old and learned many things while in the Army; some of the more important things being perseverance, determination, and dedication. In high school, I found a love in foreign languages as well and through the Army, I learned Korean, making me trilingual, also being fluent in French. I can tutor in French and Korean. I hope to see you all in class! -Coach Matt
